Halstead: Police investigating the death of 40-year-old woman
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman’s death in Halstead.
The 40-year-old was found dead in Parker Way in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with the inquiry but later released without charge.
Police are awaiting the results of further tests following a post mortem examination.
An Essex Police spokesman said at this time the death is being treated as unexplained.
