Vikki V's 2011 production of Mamma Mia
A theatre group is welcoming new members as it prepares for its next musical.
Vikki V’s Theatre Productions will be meeting on Wednesday at St Andrew’s Church Hall, in Parsonage Street, Halstead, at 7pm.
The popular group, which contains members of all ages and talents, has been led for the last seven years by Victoria Avery, a professional singer and dancer with nearly 20 years experience.
The group performs two shows a year - a musical and a family pantomime.
It is currently looking for people interested in taking part in its forthcoming production of Oliver.
Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend Wednesday’s meeting, ahead of auditions for the main parts taking place on Monday, February 18.
Vikki said: “To put this great show on we will need quite a large cast and quite a few children - boys or girls.
“We will be looking for an Oliver, Dodger and many other cast members, We will hold auditions for main parts and then it's full steam into this great musical.”
The group also holds tap and ballet dance lessons, which cost £1.50 per class.
