4G service switched on in Chelmsford

A MOBILE communications company has launched 4G technology in Chelmsford.

Everything Everywhere, known as EE, switched on the service on Thursday for people and businesses in the city which means mobile speeds will be able to operate five times faster than 3G.

Broadband in houses and shops will also work at a quicker rate.
