Halstead: Top musicians join in charity event

Musicians who have worked with Van Morrison and Jools Holland are supporting a woman’s charity headshave.
Jules Hamilton is cutting her locks at The Five Bells pub, Colne Engaine, to raise money for Cancer Research UK, for lung cancer treatment and research.
Jules, of Sudbury Road, Halstead, has organised an evening of entertainment before the headshave, including music from Dave Swift, bassist for Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and Herbie Armstrong, who was a guitarist for Van Morrison.
Guests can also enjoy a two course Indian meal.
The event is on Friday, February 8 at 7pm.
