Over 75, or nearly your birthday? Apply for your free TV Licence

ELDERLY TV viewers may be eligible for a free TV licence.

Anyone 75-years-old, or above, up until August 2013 can qualify.

If you are 74-years-old now you can get a short term licence to cover until your birthday.

Eligible people can register online at www.tvlicensing.co.uk/over75 or by calling 0300 790 6073.

....and if you're under 75 you can stop paying for your licence and wach it free on BBCiplayer, Channel4on demand, ITV player, Demand5 (Channel 5). As long as you are not receiving a live signal or watching broadcasts as they are transmitted you'll save yourself £145.50 per year.
