Halstead: Pupils welcome giraffe to school
Youngsters welcomed a special visitor to their school.
A model giraffe was presented to Holy Trinity School in Beridge Road, Halstead as part of Colchester Zoo’s Stand Tall 50th birthday celebrations.
Children will be decorating the animal before it goes on display in Colchester.
It will take part in a parade at the zoo and later return to the school as a permanent fixture.
