Halstead: Completion of River Walk project delayed by wet weather
Work to revitalise a Halstead beauty spot should finally be complete by the end of next week after being delayed by bad weather.
Braintree Council had hoped that the second phase of its £64,000 project to revamp the paths of Halstead’s River Walk, focusing on the stretch between Parsonage Street allotments and the Bluebridge Industrial Estate, would be complete by Christmas Eve.
But following weeks of wet weather completion has already been delayed by almost three weeks.
