Halstead: Barrels of fun as annual event returns
More than 100 people went full barrel for victory as a traditional Boxing Day event returned in Colne Engaine.
The annual Boxing Day barrel hunt at the Five Bells pub drew 130 competitors of varying ages and raised more than £500 for Essex Air Ambulance.
The aim was to walk either the 1.5-mile junior and family route or three-mile champions route, find one of six hidden barrels and bring it back to the pub as quickly as possible.
