Halstead: Renowned composer Paul Bateman to address group
World renowned composer and conductor Paul Bateman will lead the next meeting of an adult education group.
The Solar Society is meeting on Monday at 2.30pm in the Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Castle Hedingham.
Mr Bateman, who lives in Castle Hedingham, is well known for having been the conductor of the Phantom of the Opera during the 1980s.
He will be giving a talk on Orchestras and Orchestration, which will last for an hour and a half and includes a break for light refreshments.
