A mum hopes someone will soon apply for a job helping children cross a busy town centre road.

Partially sighted twins, Aimee and Alex Livesey, 11, have to rely on a friends’ parents to help them across Colchester Road because their lollipop lady resigned.

Despite Essex County Council’s continuing efforts, it has not received any interested applicants.
