A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm following a town centre attack.
A 47-year-old suffered a fractured eye socked and jaw in the assault near the Royal Oak in Halstead High Street on November 10.
The man, from the Halstead area, was released on police bail until January 3 next year.
