Businesses can now sign up to attend the Superfast Essex-hosted Super- Connected Business Conference being held at Chelmsford City Racecourse, on Tuesday, June 7.

The free conference will bring together industry experts, as well as innovative and inspirational leaders from the world of business, broadband and Government to talk about the technology of today and the future, and the role of high-speed connectivity in helping business growth.

The event is being arranged by the county’s broadband roll-out programme, Superfast Essex, to showcase how digital connectivity can drive commercial success and to encourage businesses to take advantage of the fast broadband infrastructure now available in most areas of the county.

Cllr Kevin Bentley, deputy leader and cabinet member for economic growth and Waste and Recycling, said: “We want to show that Essex is a great place to do business because that’s what it is.

“There are great examples of businesses which are embracing the digital world to better their business. This conference will provide a platform to celebrate these successes and inspire others to want to achieve more.”

The full-day conference, organised with support from NextGen Events Ltd, is for small and medium businesses based in and around Essex, as well as further afield.

Lunch and refreshments will be included and parking will be available. Courtesy transport to and from Chelmsford railway station will be considered if needed.
